The Bulldog Battalion marched at the Hesperia Days Parade on September 19th and took home second place in the 4 or More Youth March and took 1st in the Walking Color Guard. This signifies a large victory not just for the Army JROTC program, but for all of Oak Hills High School. The 4 or More Youth was barely beaten by Hesperia Christian School Spirit Squad. The Battalion consisted of volunteers enrolled in the JROTC program, and was lead by First Sergeant Howard.

The Walking Color Guard took place, with Pathways to College taking 2nd. The Walking Color Guard consists of fewer students, thus it is easier for them to be lead and directed by the commander of the unit. The Color Guard can also be seen retiring and presenting the colors at city meetings and football game.
