Oak Hills High School Varsity football is playing Sultana High School for the ninth time since being open. The first year they did not play anyone in High Desert because they did not have any seniors at the school who could be on the team.

Oak Hills Varsity team is currently 8-0 against Sultana. Hopefully this year can make it 9-0 for the upcoming Homecoming game on September 28th. This will also be the first league game of the season. OHHS has a record out of the league of 3-2.

The impact players to watch for the next game are Rodney Harris III who plays on the defensive side and Jamal Jones  who is Defensive Back and Wide Receiver. Harris has a pending interest from California State Berkeley and Oregon State and Jones has a pending interest from Slippery Rock University. The OHHS Defensive Back core has totaled four interceptions in four games.

The Bulldogs offense has also had a very impressive start to the season with an Average of 226 rushing yards per game and also putting up 17 touchdowns in total. The team is led by senior Running Back Isaiah Grey who has been averaged 102 yards per game and has totaled 513 yards in the season so far.

“Play hard and execute,” comments the OHHS senior quarterback, Joshua Stewart.
