Here comes Homecoming

Homecoming Queen, Red Army, and Football galore.

After a two week loss into the fall season, Oak Hills High School comes in fast to snatch their second win of the season. Even with the weather not being chilly and not on our side, red army showed up and pumped up OHHS students all the way from kickoff to the final play of the game. They really know how to show their school spirit and they went all out for the Homecoming game by dressing in their tourist outfits and cheered the night away under the Friday night lights. The group does a fantastic job at getting everyone up and going in the stands but most importantly, the amazing football players many students and staff come to see.  They have so much spirit and luckily for us, we had a great turnout for our Homecoming game.

The game remained scoreless going into the second quarter with both defenses proving robust. After an Oak Hills score late in the half, Etiwanda looked to respond while our very own Mikey Delgado was looking to steal the ball along with all momentum. After an interception at midfield, Oak Hills moved to the Dog Pound with a pleased crowd on their side.

At half time another exciting event was the class floats with their performances as well as the crowning of our Homecoming queen followed by a great firework show! Congratulations to senior Ashlyn Sproule who was crowned our 2017 homecoming queen!

Great job to our Bulldog football players on their second win of the season! The final score was Oak Hills 31, Etiwanda 14. What a great way to start off Homecoming weekend leading us into our Homecoming dance tomorrow night at 7pm to 11pm. As always, it is a great day to be a bulldog!
