Oak Hills High School will be hosting their annual Blood Drive on April 2, 2019. The ASB team has partnered with LifeStream, an organization whose main focus is to provide blood products and services to Southern California hospitals. The Blood Drive will be held in the gym as students who have signed up will be called out of class to donate their blood. Sign-ups are currently happening every day during lunch near the student store, with ASB students there to inform those who have any questions about the event. If students are 16 years old or younger they must have a permission slip signed by their legal guardians which can be found  in the ASB office.

“I would encourage students to participate in the Blood Drive because by a student donating blood they can save someone’s life. We are supposed to help and love each other so why not start by giving blood [to those who are in need],” Jesilynn Vigil, an OHHS senior and ASB Special Activities Commissioner, happily states.

If students have any questions they can go up to the ASB office or ask the students that are in charge of the sign-up table at lunch.

Happy donating!
